Information for prospective honours undergraduate students

HBA or HBSc in the School of Earth Environment and Society

I welcome interest with students interested in research related to environment studies, environmental health and informatics. Current topic areas include research on risk communication, value of information analysis and modelling human-environment interactions. I am looking for students with an interest and experience in either primary data collection (using experiments) or the analysis of secondary data.

Here are some specific topics suitable to prospective honours undergraduate students:

Experiments in environmental decision making and risk analysis
Agent-based models of socio-environmental systems
Communication of health information
Understanding attitudes, conflict and misinformation about the environment on social media
